Dark View Falls & Bamboo Bridge Adventure
Tropical Waterfalls & Suspension Bridge: A refreshing, easy to moderate tour into the heart of St. Vincent’s rainforest. The highlight is crossing a bamboo suspension bridge to reach two spectacular waterfalls, where you can enjoy a natural shower and swim in the refreshing pool
Scenic drive along the Leeward (West) coast to the falls site. The journey itself offers beautiful coastal views and passes through small fishing villages.
Begin the short, flat walk along the river. The main event is crossing the unique bamboo suspension bridge to access the trails leading to the waterfalls.
Spend time at the lower falls for swimming, relaxing, and taking photos. A short, additional scramble up a side trail leads to the second, higher fall.
Difficulty: The walk to the falls is generally easy and short (about 10–15 minutes each way) but involves walking over a rocky riverbed, which requires stable footing. Safety: The bamboo bridge is maintained by local staff and is a sturdy, supported structure. It is safe for crossing, but we recommend crossing one person at a time and holding the guide ropes.
You should wear comfortable water shoes or sturdy sandals with good grip (sneakers may get wet and muddy). Bring your swimwear, a towel, a camera, and a waterproof bag. The site has changing facilities.
